And we will supply your typeset Chinese document back to you in an easy to use format, such as high resolution PDF or outlined text. Whether you need one word or a whole brochure in Chinese, we will make the process painless and make sure you convey your intended message to a Chinese audience.

Naturally, translation of your multimedia project or website is available too. Whether your site contains HTML, XHTML, XML, JS or PHP, we can painlessly translate it to Chinese and provide you with code files localised and ready to go.

Simplified or Traditional Chinese?

There are many different varieties of spoken Chinese, such as Mandarin, Wu and Cantonese, but they can all be written in one of two standard ways.

Which set of Chinese characters is appropriate for your target audience depends on where they are. Simplified Chinese is used mainly in the People's Republic of China, while Traditional Chinese is used mainly in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau.

We can advise you on what is right for your project.

Two Chinese typesetting points of interest

  • The forms of many Traditional Chinese characters first appeared during the Han Dynasty, some 2,000 years ago.
  • Generally typeset Chinese takes up less space than the equivalent English.
