Professional English-to-Hindi translators
A successful translation will always pay attention to style, linguistic connotations and cultural appropriateness.
When translating from English to Hindi, we only employ professional, mother-tongue Hindi translators. The translator for your project will be selected specifically according to language skills, educational background, subject knowledge and experience.
Our use of the latest translation management software will ensure consistency within your current Hindi translation project and also across any related projects. It can also help to reduce costs and turnaround times – we are committed to implementing cost-saving measures for our clients wherever possible.
If you wish to review your Hindi translation before we supply you with your final translated document, we can provide you with a simple bilingual word-processing file that can be amended if necessary and returned to us.
Naturally, translation of your website is available too. We can translate your web source files to Hindi and provide you with code files ready to go.
Issues with Hindi fonts and encodings
Hindi translation has been complicated by the lack of a commonly accepted standard for storing Hindi text on computers. A plethora of Roman fonts adapted for Hindi has been in use which are not mutually compatible.
These days, we recommend sticking to Unicode as far as possible for Hindi, as it is the modern standard. We will use it by default for translations that we supply, so you will need to let us know if you need your Hindi translation to be typed in a particular non-Unicode font. If you have some existing Hindi text that needs to be in a different font, we may be able to convert it for you to save retyping – please enquire.
